About

How and Why I Do What I Do.

I am a (perpetually in progress) creative web developer with a strong web systems and technical-ops focus.
I build accessible websites that are thoughtfully put together from the ground-up using Drupal, Sitecore, WordPress and other CMS platforms. I handle everything from content and workflows to accessibility, troubleshooting, user support.

The small details matter; I tend to romanticize code and I love aesthetics that make me feel something. I also want things to just make sense for everyone else.
When I'm not making things on the internet, I'm probably organizing my notes, tweaking a color palette, and being inspired by streetlights, flowers, and cute cartoons or video games. I also enjoy reading, playing Sudoku, and loafing with my family.

BEFORE

My path hasn't ever been linear. I’ve developed patience and empathy through roles such as: interviewing for voter polls and health surveys, supporting youth in completing undercover tobacco compliance checks, serving tables, working in a bakery, supporting college students as a teaching assistant, and guiding people through their tech frustrations as an Apple advisor. These experiences taught me how to solve problems with care.

Overtime, I became the go-to for web updates, content fixes, Spanish support, and tech troubleshooting. I’m a problem-solver who brings calm, order, and care into messy systems (or at least I try to be cool, calm, and collected).

NOW

My obsession with pixel-pefect detail means your website will be meticulously crafted with a focus on accessibility and usability. Currently, I'm working as a Webmaster at the California Department of Education, honing my skills to deliver better digital experiences.
